 The biggest feature of YD-2 S PLUS is the high-mounted motor. By raising the rear center of gravity position more than the YD-2 series so far, it induces a roll and enhances the rear traction. However, simply mounting the motor in a high position will degrade maneuverability at corner exits and turns, delaying the timing of acceleration and making the machine difficult to operate. Therefore, in this "YD-2 S", the gear box is completely newly designed, avoiding the high mounting of the motor more than necessary, and by making it possible to select the motor position from 3 places in the front and back, rear traction while maintaining the movement performance. succeeded in securing

 From the spur gear, inside the dedicated gearbox that passes through the bottom of the motor and transmits the drive to the rear. The 4-gear transmission also has a structure that increases rear traction with rotational torque during acceleration, making it even more suitable for low friction road surfaces. The rear differential is equipped with a 4-pinion gear differential.

 By changing the fixing position of the motor mount plate, the motor can be selected from 3 front and rear positions. This allows fine adjustment of the weight balance, and it is possible to acquire the optimum balance according to the road surface on which you are traveling.

 The compatible battery is only a short Li-po battery, but you can select various battery mounting styles depending on the fixed position of the battery stopper. In addition to horizontal and vertical battery installation, you can select from 3 positions in the front and rear in the case of horizontal installation, and you can adjust the front and rear traction by changing the weight balance.

 The steering area is the same as the conventional YD-2 series. Already well-established Ackermann ratio, pulls out the front running. Of course, optional parts made of aluminum can also be used in common.
